Your CitizenMe invitation is coming soon! 1024 565 StJohn Deakins

Exciting news! CitizenMe will be in pre-launch mode on the Apple App Store at the end of this month – access will be via invitation only. If you’ve signed up as one of our ‘pioneer citizens’ and early supporters, we’re thrilled to share this important milestone with you and get your first impressions.
So what will CitizenMe do for you?

CitizenMe is about giving you back control of your digital identity. This begins with the digital relationships that you have with the popular apps and services that you use. In this first stage, your CitizenMe app will provide answers to two big questions about our digital lives:

What did I agree to when I signed up for those apps and web services?

  • Find out what you agreed to by saying, ‘I agree to these terms’ and ‘I accept cookies’
  • Keep updated about changes being made to your terms (and find out what they REALLY mean)
  • Take action with efficient tools that put you in control

How do I appear to friends, advertisers and others online?

  • See the assumptions made about your psychology on popular sites like Facebook
  • Check how visible your personal information is to others across popular social networks
  • Manage all of your digital “me’s” via a simple dashboard

And remember, all of this information will be visible to you and you alone.

We’ll be sharing more details about each of these services over the next few weeks. If you use an Android phone, we’re working on a version for you too – watch this space.

If you want to get your friends an invite to the prelaunch iOS App suggest that they join our waitlist on the homepage.

We’d love to hear your feedback – after all CitizenMe is being created for you, so email us via info@citizenme.com or keep in touch via your favourite social media sites.

Cheers!

StJohn founded CitizenMe with the aim to take on the biggest challenge in the Information Age: helping digital citizens gain control of their digital identity. Personal data has meaning and value to everyone, but there is an absence of digital tools to help people realise its value. With CitizenMe, StJohn aims to fix that. With a depth of experience digitising and mobilising businesses, StJohn aims for positive change in the personal information economy. Oh… and he loves liquorice.
