Welcoming Ryan Garner
I am *very* pleased to share that Ryan Garner has joined the team at CitizenMe.
Ryan and I have been talking for quite a while about the pressing need to combine newly available technology with new digital ethics to shake up digital marketing and make it truly people driven (rather than just being about driving people to cash tills). It became obvious to us both a few months back that he should just join the team and start building the services that he believes in so passionately.
Ryan brings a wealth of experience as an Insights expert at leading companies such as Verve, GfK and Experian. He has deep expertise in quantitative market research and insights focused on innovation and brand. He’s also consulted widely with a variety of blue chip companies on the new Personal Information economy. Ryan’s background is a perfect fit for CitizenMe, already a leading StartUp in this rapidly evolving area. In the few weeks that Ryan’s been onboard, we’ve started working with a number of pioneering companies who are aligned with CitizenMe’s vision; i.e. that Citizens should be in control of their own personal information and also the “data relationships” that they have with their favourite brands.
We’ll have more news on this for you very soon.
StJohn founded CitizenMe with the aim to take on the biggest challenge in the Information Age: helping digital citizens gain control of their digital identity. Personal data has meaning and value to everyone, but there is an absence of digital tools to help people realise its value. With CitizenMe, StJohn aims to fix that. With with a depth of experience digitising and mobilising businesses, StJohn aims for positive change in the personal information economy. Oh… and he loves liquorice. All stories by: StJohn Deakins
